About Me
In 2020, I was touring with Zach Williams on The Rescue Story Tour. At the very beginning of that tour the pandemic hit. Our jobs ceased to exist and the idea for Lessons with Don was born from my quarantined couch. I soon rediscovered my love of teaching and turned it into my full-time gig.
But, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. As the world got back to normal, I eased back into touring. Working closely with 49 Winchester, followed by Morgan Wade. I’ve had so much fun making music with some of the best artists on the planet.
So here we are in 2025 and I’m so happy to announce the official launch of Lessons with Don. A 17 lesson introduction into my creative process and the players and people who influence it. Something for everyone. Beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Lots of piano licks, organ riffs, song tutorials, music theory and more. An in-depth look at my work with Morgan Wade, 49 Winchester, Zach Williams, Unspoken, JJ Weeks Band, and so much more.
